Stacie Bowens

Stacie graduated from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with BS in Biology and minor in Wildlife Biology. She went on to work with Alaska Department of Fish and Game for nearly 13 years as a biologist, science educator, and program coordinator before making the switch to working for Straight Ahead Rescue. Stacie is a self-professed science geek, who loves the outdoors and has long supported local groups such as Becoming An Outdoors-Woman, and the Alaska Outdoor Heritage Foundation. She feels the blend of science and practical application makes CPR, First Aid, and Survival classes the perfect fit for her skill set.
